FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I book a service?

Thank you for considering us! To book a service, please reach out to us via our contact us page to make arrangements. We would be happy to discuss your rental needs. All rentals require a 40% non-refundable retainer at the time of booking. Please remember to check our openings page to confirm if we are available for onsite installations.

  1. Confirm your rental needs and book a face-to-face consultation. Over the phone consultations are also available.

  2. Receive your invoice and contract electronically.

  3. Once reviewed, your 40% non-refundable retainer can be made to secure your date. All major credit cards are accepted.

  4. Your booking is complete! We will work with you to draft a digital mockup design to help bring your vision to life.

How soon should I book my service?

We recommend booking onsite event decorations as soon as possible to secure your date. We can accept bookings up to 12 months in advance. Please visit our openings page for available dates. For more information, please refer to our Contact Us page.

What payment options do you offer?

We accept all major credit cards, cash or personal checks made payable to Magical Quest Party Decor LLC. ​

  • A 40%, non-refundable retainer is required to complete your rental.

  • We can only hold your reservation up to 2 weeks from your invoice issue date, the invoice is voided after that time period.

  • The full balance MUST be paid at least 7 days prior to the event date for onsite installs and balloon orders. 

  • The remaining balance is due at the time of delivery for individual rental items such as throne chairs and flower walls.

  • We accept partial payments leading up to your event date. Happy to set up a payment plan that meets your budget!

How far do you deliver rental items?

We service Des Moines, Iowa and surrounding areas. Free delivery is available on most rental items within a 30-minute driving distance from central Des Moines. Additional delivery fees apply for father distances.

 

1: Individual Rental Items or Just Balloons Orders: Up to 1 hour from Des Moines.

2. Decoration Services: Up to 2 hours from Des Moines.

We cannot accommodate distances over 2 hour from Des Moines at this time. We appreciate your understanding.

I couldn't find a pricing package that fits my needs. Can I rent items individually?

We can certainly try our best to accommodate your rental needs. We are open to renting our items when they are not in use such as throne chairs, flower walls and backdrops panels etc. Visit our Individual Rental Items page for pricing information. Please reach out to us for availability.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Cancellations Policy:

Retainers are non-refundable once your booking is complete.

  1. Please consider rescheduling your event to avoid losing your retainer.

  2. Please review our rescheduling policy below for additional information.

Rescheduling Policy:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may affect your event.

  1. You may reschedule your event up to 60 days prior for an available "future" date.

  2. If you must reschedule your event beyond the 60 day window, additional fees will apply. These fees will apply due to there being no guarantee that we can book an event for that day.

  3. There may be exceptions to this policy, please work with us for weather related issues or emergencies.

Do you offer discounted services to charity events or non profits?

Thank you considering us as a partner in your charitable efforts! We love giving back to the Des Moines community that we grew up in. We offer a 15% discount to non profit organizations and charity events. Let us know how we can help! Please refer to our Contact Us page to reach us.​​

Do you offer live floral arrangements?

Not at this time. All of our floral arrangements are made with artificial florals.

Outdoor event disclaimer:

Unfortunately, we do not offer outdoor event decorating services at this time. This includes events held under tarps, tents and barns that do not have a poured foundation (dirt floor). We currently focus on indoor events at locations such as residences, venues, gyms, and more.
